The Blues: A World View 
Dan Klarskov & The Honey Drippers (Clearwood Records, Clear-981) reside not in Chicago, Memphis or Detroit but Copenhagen. 
Dan Klarskov, blues guitarist and vocalist, residing Denmark, has absorbed a history of American blues from Louis Armstrong and Big Joe Turner to T-Bone Walker and Jimmy Rushing and has packaged it all soundly on this Danish disc. 
Describing himself as a "mechanical engineer by trade" and a full time blues musician by design, Klarskov and a superb band cover such classics as Big Joe" "Wee Wee Baby" Louis Armstrong's "Back O' Town Blues and Roy Milton's "Night and Day" and T-Bone Walker's Strollin' With Bone". Giving the sound of this session a gritty bottom is tenor saxophonist Anders Gaardmand and Peter Lapiki's organ.
